Ways of giving to Elan Vital
Gift Aid.
If you pay tax in the UK, then Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift to a charity. Making your donation using Gift Aid will enable the charity to reclaim the basic rate tax on your gift to them. This means that if you give £10 to charity using Gift Aid, that gift is worth £12.50 to the charity.
You can make payments by cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card or even in a foreign currency (including the euro).
You can give any amount, large or small, regular or one-off and the charity can reclaim the tax.
If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim relief on the difference between the basic rate and higher rate of tax. If you do not pay tax, you should not use Gift Aid.

Payroll Giving
If your employer has joined the Give As You Earn scheme you can nominate Elan Vital as your chosen charity and give directly from your pre-tax salary, so money that would normally go to the taxman goes to Elan Vital instead. You just decide how much you want to give each month – it could be a couple of pounds, or more. Then your donation comes out of your pay packet before tax is deducted.

eBay for Charity is an easy way to support your favourite causes while selling your unwanted items on eBay. As a seller, you can choose a charity, and select the percentage of the sales price you wish to donate - and ebay will do the rest. Click here for more info
Loose Change
Who notices a few pence every day? Why not save your loose change into a jam jar to donate to Elan Vital? Count it, sort it into whole ££s, and pay it into Elan Vital's bank account. (Ask the bank teller to put your name as "Reference") Or give it to your local Elan Vital treasurer to bank.

Donor Teams
All around the world, there are people who recognise and appreciate the work that Prem Rawat is doing, and wish to help in a more committed way. They have come together as teams of donors, who pledge to contribute above a given amount of money at the beginning of the year.

A Legacy in your will
Legacies are a way of providing for the people and causes that you care for in your will. If you don’t have a will it’s a good idea to ask your solicitor to draft one for you. A properly drafted will ensures that your wishes are carried out as you would want them to be.
If you already have a will, it’s easy to amend it. Minor changes, such as adding a gift to Elan Vital, do not require a new will. The existing will can be amended by preparing a document called a codicil, which your solicitor can help you draw up. (Please note the wording of a bequest may differ in Scotland. Your solicitor will be able to advise you on the correct terms.)
